AX-340BT — Fanless Network Security & SD-WAN Appliance
16 cores. 10 LAN ports. No fan.
A fanless network security and SD-WAN appliance for the edge of segmented networks. The AX-340BT’s 16-core Intel Atom C3958 drives packet processing across 10 LAN ports (6× 2.5GbE + 4× 10G SFP), running firewall/UTM, SD-WAN, VLAN segmentation and edge-routing workloads — with 4G/5G and Wi-Fi expansion, in a sealed cableless chassis. Fanless and cabinet-ready for temperature-controlled racks and enclosures.
- 10 LAN total — 6× Intel i226-V 2.5GbE plus 4× Intel X553 10G SFP for segmented links and aggregated uplinks
- 16 cores at 31W TDP — Atom C3958 parallel throughput for packet processing, cooled entirely by the chassis
- Out-of-band RJ45 console — provision or rescue the appliance without a working data link

Positioning: cabinet / light-industrial — stated honestly
The AX-340BT is designed for temperature-controlled racks, cabinets and indoor light-industrial spaces. Its 12V DC input, 0°C to +40°C operating range and EMC scope (EN 61000-3-2 / EN 61000-3-3) place it in the light-industrial tier — not on a harsh factory floor, outdoors, or in a vehicle. If your deployment needs wide-temperature operation, 9–36V input or industrial-environment EMC (EN IEC 61000-6-2 / 6-4), we will point you at a true-industrial platform instead of stretching this spec.
What This Platform Is For
Built for network security and SD-WAN
Ten LAN ports — 6× Intel i226-V 2.5GbE and 4× Intel X553 10G SFP — let the AX-340BT terminate multiple segmented links and aggregate 10G uplinks in one fanless box, running firewall/UTM, SD-WAN, VLAN segmentation and edge-routing workloads. A natural host for network-function and security software on a general-purpose x86 platform.
16 cores, no fan
An Intel Atom C3958 (16 cores / 16 threads, 2.0GHz, 16MB L3, 31W TDP) provides the parallel throughput that packet-processing and multi-service networking workloads demand, cooled entirely by an extruded-aluminium unibody chassis — no fan, and no dust-ingress path into the enclosure.
Wireless-ready expansion
M.2 B-Key (PCIe + USB 3.0) for 4G/5G and M.2 E-Key (PCIe) for Wi-Fi, plus a SIM slot — ready for connected and remote-managed deployments.
Out-of-band console access
A dedicated RJ45 console port gives direct CLI access for initial provisioning and recovery — configure or rescue the appliance even when the network is down or misconfigured, without depending on a working data link.
Clean, low-maintenance install
Fanless, cableless, jumperless unibody design with wall / side / DIN-rail / VESA mounting, 12V DC input via Phoenix terminal, and 2-pin remote power on/off — built to sit in a rack or enclosure and run unattended.
