The AP-AW1S is built as a stable x86 industrial HMI platform designed for environments that demand multi-touch responsiveness, scratch resistance and an easy-to-clean glass surface. The 10-point projected-capacitive touchscreen (≥6H, JIS-5400) supports bare-finger and thin-glove input, modern gesture-based UIs and frequent washdown-adjacent cleaning cycles.

Engineered for AGV/AMR controllers, CNC operator stations, food-processing lines and outdoor kiosks, the AP-AW1S features an IP65-rated front bezel that provides complete protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets. The fanless aluminum unibody construction follows the BITECH Three-Less philosophy — Fanless, Cable-less, Jumper-less — for maintenance-free, long-life deployments.

As the capacitive counterpart to the resistive AP-1010BT-X02, the AP-AW1S emphasizes modern UX, surface durability and 5–7 year lifecycle support for OEM HMI programs.

When to Choose Capacitive Touch

Capacitive touch is preferred for modern HMI software with gesture-based UIs, for washdown-adjacent food-processing lines, and for outdoor kiosks where surface hardness and easy cleaning matter. For thick industrial gloves, stylus pressure or wet-with-debris environments, the resistive AP-1010BT-X02 may be the better choice.
